XARAN - Children of The Dragon book 10: In 2066 a world famous archaeologist, Jonathan Kraine, stumbles upon a ruin in the jungles of Costa Rica, and subsequent exploration reveals a pre-Olmec civilization, a city destroyed by lava and retaken by the jungle. But it is older than anything found before, and it contains features which suggest a more modern and more technically advanced people built it. Is this the fabled lost continent of Atlantis, of which Plato spoke in his writings? The story follows the personal adventures of one of its inhabitants, who sees his culture destroyed by natural forces over the course of a single night. Not yet rated.
The author says, "I am writing this story from the point of view of one of my characters to describe what must have gotten the legend of the vampire started, and possibly when. I do not expect people to believe it, but it should present a plausible origin for the vampire myth and the common meme of the dragon throughout the world. I also dabble with the effects of seimic events and global warming in an area not covered over by ice in the beginning of the previous Ice Age." ♦ Web page and images ©2010 Antellus, All Rights Reserved.
